Our Early Years program creates a warm, nurturing environment where young learners develop a love of learning, build foundational academic skills, and begin their journey as confident individuals.

Lower Academy
The Lower Academy builds on early foundations with deeper academic engagement, STEAM challenges, and project-based learning that develops critical thinkers and collaborative problem-solvers.
Students in grades 3–5 are ready to tackle real challenges. We embed critical thinking into every subject, use technology as a learning tool, and give students meaningful projects that connect learning to the real world.

Upper Academy
The Upper Academy prepares students for the rigors of high school through advanced academics, leadership development, presentation skills, and a strong sense of personal identity and purpose.
Middle school is a pivotal time. We combine academic rigor with leadership development to ensure students graduate from YLA not just academically prepared, but confident, articulate, and ready to lead.
